Not a great name. This is an old PC that continues its life as server and node in my k8s cluster.
Additionally it provides the bulk storage for my network via nfs (backed by
raidz1).
Most of the hardware in here is rather old, but it’s the only system I have that’s a classical PC build with individual parts.
The most interesting (modern) parts are likely the drives.
- 5x Samsung 870 EVO 1TB - 4 in
raidz1, 1 hot spare - Samsung 840 EVO (old enough there’s no links…) - This is the boot drive.
- i7-2600k
- AMD Radeon HD 6950 Another one so old the link is scuffed
- ASUS P8P67-M PRO (Probably defunked amazon link)
